India triumphed over Bangladesh in the first Test match held in Chennai, winning by 280 runs. Veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin commended Rishabh Pant’s remarkable comeback during the post-match press conference. Ashwin stated, “I don’t think Rishabh’s form and ability were ever questioned. On Day 4, India needed six wickets to win, while Bangladesh required 357 more runs. Ashwin took six wickets, conceding 88 runs in 21 overs.
