BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad has assured that the government is taking action regarding the NEET paper leak issue. He emphasized that arrests have been made and the government is not silent on the matter.

Arrests and Investigations

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested four individuals in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak. Dr. Ehsaan Ul Haq and Imtiaz Alam, principal and vice principal of Oasis School in Jharkhand, were among those arrested. They were involved in coordinating the exam in Hazaribagh.

Earlier, two individuals from Patna, Bihar, were also arrested. Ashutosh and Manish Prakash were accused of arranging safe houses and transporting students for the exam.

Parliament Debates

The NEET-UG row has led to several adjournments in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, with opposition parties demanding a debate on the issue.

NEET-UG 2024 Examination

The NEET-UG 2024 exam was conducted by the National Testing Agency on May 5, 2024, at 4,750 centers in 571 cities, including 14 cities abroad. Over 23 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, and 67 candidates achieved a perfect score, leading to widespread protests.
