Rana Sanaullah Criticizes PTI’s Political Approach

In Islamabad, Pakistan, Rana Sanaullah Khan, a leader from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has expressed concerns about the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party’s reluctance to engage in dialogue. Sanaullah, who is a special assistant to the Prime Minister on political affairs, stated that PTI’s political behavior over the past decade shows a lack of interest in consensus-building or dialogue.

He criticized PTI for being insincere, suggesting that they pretend to consult while doing otherwise. This reflects ongoing political tensions in Pakistan, especially regarding PTI’s involvement in legislative matters.

JUI-F’s Call for Caution

Meanwhile, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) has requested more time to evaluate proposed legislative changes. They expressed concerns about rushing amendments without adequate consultation, warning against quick decisions that might have unforeseen consequences. JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman was presented with the final draft of the amendments, and further discussions were deemed necessary to understand the implications fully.

PTI’s Boycott of Voting Process

In response to these developments, PTI’s Political Committee announced plans to boycott the voting process for constitutional amendments in both houses of parliament. They also plan to protest against PTI members who participate in the voting, highlighting a growing divide in Pakistan’s political landscape.
