Ramita Jindal’s Remarkable Debut

20-year-old Ramita Jindal reached the final in her Olympic debut, becoming the first female shooter after Suma Shirur to do so. She finished in 7th position, with a remarkable comeback in the last series of the qualification round and a brave performance in the final.

Elavenil Valarivan’s Strong Start

Elavenil Valarivan also started strongly in the qualification round but missed out on a chance to reach the final. Despite this, her performance was commendable.

Training at Gagan Narang Sports Promotion Foundation

Both shooters trained under Coach Neha at the Gagan Narang Sports Promotion Foundation (GNSPF). Neha expressed pride in their performances, stating, “Both Elavenil and Ramita performed really well, and I am very proud of them.” She highlighted the tailored training programs and the foundation’s role in their development.
