Ram Madhav, BJP’s election in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir, expressed confidence in the party’s success in the upcoming assembly elections. Accompanied by BJP J-K chief Ravinder Raina, who filed his nomination from Naushera, Madhav believes BJP will emerge as the biggest party in the Union Territory.

Raina criticized Congress and its ally National Conference, predicting a strong BJP victory. He stated, ‘Rahul Gandhi and his alliance partner National Conference have always insulted the very respected Maharajas of J-K. The people of J-K will definitely give an answer to Congress, Rahul Gandhi and their alliance partner, the National Conference.’

The elections will be held in three phases on September 18, 25, and October 1, with results on October 8. These will be the first elections in Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370.
