Rajnath Singh to Attend ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting in Laos
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit Laos from November 20-22 for the 11th ASEAN Defence Ministers Meeting-Plus (ADMM Plus). This meeting is a significant platform for ASEAN member states and their Dialogue Partners, including India, to enhance security and defence cooperation.

Earlier, during the Delhi Defence Dialogue, Singh addressed India’s diverse security challenges, ranging from traditional border threats to unconventional issues like terrorism and cyberattacks. He emphasized the evolving nature of global security in the information age.
About ADMM-Plus
The ADMM-Plus includes ASEAN countries and eight Dialogue Partners: India, US, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. India has been a dialogue partner since 1992, with annual meetings since 2017 to strengthen cooperation.
