Rajnath Singh Criticizes Jharkhand Government, Promotes BJP’s Vision for Progress
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recently criticized the Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government, accusing it of corruption. He likened the BJP and its NDA allies to “powerful rockets” ready to propel Jharkhand towards progress. Singh spoke at public meetings in Ranchi and Lohardaga, urging voters to remove “speedbreakers” like JMM, Congress, and RJD in the upcoming elections.
Singh highlighted that three of Jharkhand’s seven Chief Ministers have faced jail, none from the BJP. He promised to stop illegal Bangladeshi infiltration and protect tribal rights if BJP forms the government. Singh also mentioned the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana, aimed at improving conditions for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).
The BJP-led government approved the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM JANMAN) with a budget of Rs 24,104 crore, focusing on 11 critical interventions through nine ministries. Singh noted that Mandal Murmu, who signed nomination papers for Chief Minister Hemant Soren, has joined BJP, indicating a shift in political support.
Jharkhand will hold assembly polls in two phases on November 13 and 20.
