Amid the controversy surrounding Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘Batenge to Katenge’ slogan, Singh stated, “You neither have to divide nor let others divide; the entire country must stay together.” He stressed that avoiding division is key to development.

Singh also criticized Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray for allegedly compromising principles for power, expressing his respect for the late Balasaheb Thackeray. He remarked, “A man of character is one who does not waver from his principles in times of adversity.”

The slogan ‘Batenge to Katenge’ has sparked debate, with opposition leaders criticizing it for communal undertones, while supporters see it as a call for Hindu unity. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari urged people not to misinterpret the slogan, highlighting the need for unity against terrorism and external threats.
