Rajnath Singh and PM Modi Honor Brave Soldiers on 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised the courage and spirit of the soldiers who fought in the 1999 Kargil War. He said their bravery will continue to inspire every Indian and future generations.
On the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Kargil War Memorial to pay tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives. He also initiated the Shinkun La Tunnel Project, which will provide all-weather connectivity to Leh and aid in the movement of armed forces and regional development.
