The Rajasthan government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, successfully held an investor meet in New Delhi for the upcoming ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024.

Investment MoUs Signed

The event facilitated the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth over Rs 8 lakh crore with the Bureau of Industrial Promotion (BIP). This brings the total value of investment MoUs to over Rs 12.50 lakh crore.

The MoUs cover various sectors such as Renewable Energy, Power Transmissions, Oil and Gas, CNG, Logistics, Cement, and Agrotech. Companies involved include Tata Power, Indian Oil, Avaada Group, NHPC, Reliance Bio Energy, Torrent Power, Sterlite Power Transmission, Mahindra Susten Private Ltd, THDC India, Oil India, Jindal Renewable Power, Essar Renewables, Indraprastha Gas, Adani Logistics, JK Cement, BL Agro Industries, and Titagarh Rail Systems.

Future Goals

Chief Minister Sharma emphasized the state’s commitment to transforming its economy, aiming to double it from USD 180 billion to USD 350 billion in the next five years. The focus is on turning investment intentions into real projects.

Upcoming Summit

The ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 will be held in Jaipur from December 9-11, 2024. The event will attract national and international business leaders, innovators, startups, and other stakeholders.

Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant highlighted the summit as a step towards making Rajasthan a 350-billion-dollar economy. He noted the state’s strategic advantages and the government’s efforts to simplify policies and regulatory compliance.
