Rajasthan Mourns the Loss of Senior BJP Leader Sunderlal ‘Kaka’
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Friday expressed his condolences on the passing of former Cabinet Minister and senior BJP leader Sunderlal ‘Kaka’. CM Sharma described his death as an ‘irreparable loss’ for the party.
In a social media post, CM Sharma wrote, ‘The news of the demise of former Cabinet Minister, senior leader of Rajasthan BJP, respected Sundarlal “Kaka” ji is extremely sad. His departure to heaven is an irreparable loss for the BJP family. I pray to Almighty God to give his holy soul a place in his feet and provide strength to his family members in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!’
Rajasthan Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa also expressed his grief, remembering Sunderlal ‘Kaka’s contributions to politics and the social sector. He wrote, ‘The news of the demise of former Cabinet Minister and senior BJP leader respected Sundarlal Kaka ji is extremely sad. His contributions to politics and the social sector will always be remembered. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family, supporters, and all fans in this hour of grief. I pray to Almighty God to give a place to the virtuous soul in his feet and provide strength to the bereaved family in this sad hour. Om Shanti!’
BJP MP CP Joshi also condoled the death, stating, ‘The news of the demise of former Cabinet Minister, senior leader of Rajasthan BJP, respected Shri Sundarlal “Kaka” ji is extremely sad. His departure to heaven is an irreparable loss for the BJP family. I pray to God to give place to the departed souls at his feet and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this loss.’
Sunderlal ‘Kaka’, aged 92, passed away on Thursday after a prolonged illness. He was a prominent politician from the Shekawati region and served as a 5-time MLA from Surajgad and a 2-time MLA from Pilani.
