Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar Accuses Congress of Corruption in Gandhi Vatika Museum

Jaipur (Rajasthan) [India], September 28: Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar has accused the Congress party of corruption in the name of Mahatma Gandhi. During a review visit to the Gandhi Vatika Museum in Jaipur, Dilawar alleged that the previous Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government committed corruption while building the museum.

“The previous Ashok Gehlot government also played tricks and committed corruption in building the Gandhi Vatika Museum… Congress is committing corruption even in the name of Mahatma Gandhi,” Dilawar stated.

He criticized the Congress party for not upholding Gandhi’s principles in the museum, which he claimed glorifies the British without mentioning Rajasthan’s great men like Maharana Pratap. “Gandhiji’s principles should be there in Gandhi Vatika, but they are not there. This Gandhi Vatika Museum, built during Ashok Gehlot’s tenure, glorifies the British while there is no mention of Rajasthan’s great men, Maharana Pratap and others,” he added.

Dilawar was on a review visit to the Gandhi Vatika Museum, which will be inaugurated on October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma. The museum will be operated by the Tourism, Art and Culture Department following its inauguration.

Former Chief Minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot had earlier warned of staging a protest against the operation of the Gandhi Vatika Museum, after which the government announced the opening of the museum on October 2.
