In a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme-2024 (RIPS-2024) was introduced to encourage industrial investment. The meeting also addressed employee welfare, journalist welfare, solar energy, and state development.

  • The government aims to attract maximum investment for the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, scheduled from December 9-11.
  • The RIPS-2024 is the most attractive investment promotion scheme in the country in terms of concessions for investors.
  • The minimum age and experience requirements for freelance journalists have been lowered.
  • Educational qualifications for Class IV and driver posts have been raised to 10th grade, with recruitment now through written exams by the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board.
  • The government plans to fill 60,000 Class IV vacancies and provide 1 lakh government jobs this year.
  • A notification has been issued to recruit 23,820 sanitation workers through local bodies.

  • A pay scale increase for the Establishment Officer of the Rajasthan Subordinate Office Ministerial Service.
  • Inclusion of provisions for relaxing two years of required experience for promotion during the DPC year 2024-25.
  • Advance salary increment for Senior Ayurveda Medical Officers obtaining a postgraduate degree while in service.
  • Amendments to the Rajasthan Rural Development and Panchayati Raj State and Subordinate Service Rules-1998 to remove abolished posts and ensure uniform recruitment for Junior Engineers.
