Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Criticizes Rahul Gandhi for Parliament Remarks

On Tuesday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma criticized Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, for his remarks in Parliament. Sharma accused Gandhi of lying and insulting 125 crore Hindus by calling them ‘violent’ and ‘hateful’.

Sharma said, ‘He failed for the third consecutive time. Congress tried to launch him again and again but you can see that he was unable to get launched. He has been rejected. This was the first speech of Rahul Gandhi as the LoP and it was a speech full of lies, despair and baseless things.’

Sharma also accused the Congress of indulging in politics of appeasement and taking stands against Hindu interests.

Meanwhile, several portions of Gandhi’s speech, which targeted the central government over issues like minorities, the NEET row, and the Agnipath scheme, were expunged from the Parliament records. His comments on Hindus and PM Narendra Modi-BJP-RSS were among those removed.

During his speech, Gandhi accused the BJP and RSS of spreading violence and hatred, which led to protests from BJP leaders, including PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah demanded an apology from Gandhi.

Both the BJP and Congress held press conferences to address the controversy, with each party defending their stance.
