At a tourism meet in London, held at the Taj Hotel, Sharma addressed tourism professionals and investors, emphasizing Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty.

Sharma highlighted that Rajasthan is a major attraction for tourists, with every third tourist visiting India also visiting Rajasthan. In the financial year 2022/23, Rajasthan welcomed 180 million domestic tourists, marking a 65% increase from the previous year.

Sharma invited investors to explore opportunities in Rajasthan’s tourism industry, noting that the state is not only a tourist hotspot but also an attractive destination for investors. He mentioned the need for extra hotel arrangements in cities like Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bharatpur, and Udaipur during peak tourist seasons.
