On Sunday, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma attended the “Jal Sanchay – Jan Bhagidari se Jan Andolan” event in Surat, Gujarat. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his role in facilitating water agreements between states, launching development schemes, and combating naxalism.

Water Agreement and Development

CM Sharma highlighted PM Modi’s 2003 initiative to provide water to Rajasthan, contrasting it with opposition parties’ threats to cancel agreements. He noted the country’s progress under PM Modi’s leadership since 2014, including welfare schemes and efforts to eliminate terrorism and naxalism.

Upcoming Global Investment Summit

CM Sharma is set to visit Germany and the UK to meet industrialists and promote the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit in Jaipur from December 9-11. He aims to attract investments to boost employment and the state’s economy.
