Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma Meets Japanese Officials in Tokyo to Boost Investments

New Delhi [India], September 12: A high-level delegation from the Government of Rajasthan, led by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, visited Tokyo to meet with senior officials from Wafuku Hospital and Home Care Group. The delegation also held one-on-one interactions with major Japanese firms, including Honda Motor Company Limited and TOHO Group.

Japanese company officials expressed interest in collaborating with the Rajasthan government to enhance health services and promote cultural exchange. Executive Vice President Aoyama of Honda Motor Company Limited thanked the Rajasthan government for its support and discussed the company’s operations in the state. Sharma invited Honda to set up an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in Rajasthan.

The delegation also met with officials from the Indian Embassy in Japan, including Indian Ambassador Sibi George. Sharma held talks with Japanese ministers, including Ishii Taku and Ishibashi Rintaro, to seek continued support for investments in Rajasthan. He invited the Japanese government to attend the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 in Jaipur.

In a social media post, Sharma stated, “Our resolve- Rajasthan should be established as the investment capital of India.” He highlighted the investment opportunities, strong industrial policies, developed infrastructure, and skilled human resources in Rajasthan.
