The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), led by Raj Thackeray, has announced its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. The list includes 15 candidates, such as Yogesh Chile from Panvel and Shivshankar Lagar from Khamgaon.

Earlier, MNS candidate Sandeep Deshpande criticized Aaditya Thackeray, the current MLA for Worli, for not meeting with residents over the past five years. Deshpande highlighted issues like incomplete Slum Rehabilitation Authority projects and lack of development in the area.

The Maharashtra Assembly elections are set for November 20, with vote counting scheduled for November 23. In the 2019 elections, the BJP won 105 seats, Shiv Sena 56, and Congress 44.
