The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts that Delhi and Noida will experience isolated rainfall, cloudy skies, and light thunderstorms throughout the weekend. The rain is expected to continue until July 17.

Due to the rain, water levels in the Yamuna River are anticipated to rise. Authorities have issued alerts to residents of villages along the riverbanks in Noida, which faced severe flooding during last year’s monsoon season.
