Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Criticizes Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal Over Floods and Water Issues

Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for the ongoing water scarcity and garbage issues in the city. Vaishnaw accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Kejriwal of creating chaos in Delhi due to their dishonesty and irresponsibility.

The criticism came after several areas in Delhi’s Bawana region experienced flooding when the Munak Canal Barrage sustained a breach. Vaishnaw stated, “They made false promises of cleaning the city and providing drinking water, closing drainages but they have not done anything. They could not provide the people with drinking water but focused totally on liquor.”

He also criticized Kejriwal’s liquor policy, claiming it disrupted the entire government system and questioned Kejriwal’s work ethic and responsibility. Vaishnaw urged Delhi citizens to reconsider their support for the AAP and Congress, suggesting a need for a new government in the city.

The BJP’s Delhi Unit also blamed the AAP government for the flooding in Bawana, stating, “Due to the incompetence of Kejriwal and his ministers, the people of Bawana are facing flood-like conditions today.” They accused Kejriwal of deceiving the people of Delhi with false promises.
