Rahul Gandhi to Decide on Union Budget Speech Amid Pressure from Congress MPs

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition, is expected to speak on the Union Budget 2024 in the Lower House today at 2 pm. According to sources, Congress MPs believe that Rahul’s address is crucial. However, Rahul has suggested that other MPs should also get a chance to speak on a rotational basis.

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi criticized the Union Budget, calling it an attack on the dignity of India’s federal structure. He stated that the budget neglects and discriminates against other states in favor of saving power.

Kharge mentioned that the budget only included projects for two states and accused the BJP-led government of presenting such a budget to secure its survival with the support of JD-U and TDP.

Rahul Gandhi participated in an INDIA bloc protest against the budget at the Parliament complex on Friday.
