Five Guarantees for Maharashtra

The five guarantees aim to combat inflation and unemployment, improve living standards, and enhance access to education and nutrition. The Mahalakshmi Yojana will provide Rs 3,000 monthly to one woman per family and free bus travel for women. Farmers’ loans up to Rs 3 lakhs will be waived, with incentives for regular repayments. A caste census will be conducted, and health insurance of Rs 25 lakh will be provided to all families. Unemployed youth will receive Rs 4,000 monthly assistance.

The Maharashtra Assembly elections are set for November 20, with results on November 23. In previous elections, BJP and Shiv Sena secured significant seats, with Congress trailing behind.
