Rahul Gandhi Criticizes PM Modi for Neglecting Farmers in Haryana Rally

Kurukshetra (Haryana), September 30: Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for neglecting farmers during a rally in Thanesar, Haryana. He accused Modi of favoring billionaire Adani and called for breaking the ‘Chakravyuh’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Rahul Gandhi said, “We don’t want such an India where 25 people enjoy themselves, organize weddings worth thousands of crores of rupees, and farmers and laborers die of hunger. To change this, we have to break the Chakravyuh of Narendra Modi and BJP. Narendra Modi’s God is Adani. Whatever Adani says, Narendra Modi does it.”

He also emphasized the need to waive off loans for laborers and poor people, similar to how loans for billionaires are waived off. He highlighted Congress’s contributions like land acquisition, MANREGA, and the right to food, which benefited the public.

Rahul Gandhi shared his experience of meeting youths from Haryana in America, who struggled to start businesses back home due to lack of support and opportunities. He criticized Modi’s friend Trump for trying to block their way in America.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi blamed the BJP government for the poor condition of farmers. She said, “My farmer brothers work very hard on the fields to feed the people of the nation. Your sons are protecting the borders and us. This government (BJP) only brings black laws. They called you, the farmers, anti-nationals. Don’t forget that the BJP government is responsible for your miserable condition today.”

Rahul Gandhi, former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda, party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and MPs Kumari Selja and KC Venugopal urged voters to support Congress in the upcoming Haryana elections on October 5. The counting of votes will take place on October 8. In the 2019 elections, BJP secured 40 seats, while Congress won 30 seats.
