Rahul Gandhi Criticizes BJP Over NEET-PG Exam Postponement

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government for postponing the NEET-PG exam, calling it an example of a ruined education system. He stated that students are forced to fight the government to save their future under BJP’s rule.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) Examination, which was scheduled for June 23. The ministry cited concerns over the integrity of competitive exams and announced that a new date would be provided soon.

The Ministry of Health expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to students and emphasized that the decision was made to maintain the sanctity of the examination process. A high-level committee led by former ISRO chairman Dr. K. Radhakrishnan will review the examination process and make recommendations for improvements.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for conducting the NEET-UG exams, faced criticism over alleged irregularities, leading to protests and demands to disband the NTA. The Ministry of Education has formed a 7-member committee to address these issues and improve data security protocols.
