On Friday, Congress leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, criticized the BJP government for increasing unemployment, crime, and drug issues in Haryana. Through a social media post, he shared his experiences from the Vijay Sankalp Yatra, where he interacted with locals who expressed their concerns.

Gandhi accused the BJP of damaging the state’s systems, leading to high unemployment rates. He claimed that policies like GST and demonetization harmed small businesses, and initiatives like Agniveer demotivated youth aspiring to join the army. He also mentioned that agricultural businesses suffered due to certain laws, and government recruitment was halted, affecting families.

Gandhi promised that if Congress comes to power, they will create 2 lakh permanent jobs and work towards making Haryana drug-free. He assured the people of Haryana that he would protect their children and bring back employment opportunities.

Haryana is set to vote on Saturday, with results expected on October 8.
