Rahul Gandhi has suggested an alliance with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for the upcoming Haryana elections. AAP Haryana president Sushil Gupta confirmed ongoing talks and stated that the party will follow the high command’s decision. Gupta mentioned that AAP is preparing to contest all 90 assembly seats with full strength.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh welcomed the idea of an alliance, emphasizing the priority to defeat the BJP. He noted that discussions are ongoing and a final decision will be communicated to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.

According to sources, Rahul Gandhi sought the opinion of Haryana Congress leaders during a Central Election Committee meeting about the alliance. The elections in Haryana will be held in a single phase on October 5, with the counting of votes on October 8.
