Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi Support Students Amid NEET-UG 2024 Exam Scandal

New Delhi [India], June 21: After alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 exam, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi criticized the BJP and expressed their support for the students. Priyanka Gandhi, on her official X handle, condemned the corruption and demanded immediate action to ensure justice for 24 lakh youth.

Rahul Gandhi also voiced his support on his official X handle, highlighting the struggles of students and promising to raise the issue in Parliament. He shared a video discussing the problems with students, emphasizing the need for opposition support if the government fails to act.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has declined to halt the NEET-UG 2024 counselling process but issued notices to the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the Centre. The court has allowed over 1,500 students to retake the exam after awarding them grace marks. The next hearing is scheduled for July 8.

The NEET-UG 2024 exam, conducted by the NTA, is crucial for admission to medical and related courses across India. The results, declared on June 4, showed 67 students achieving perfect scores, leading to protests and petitions for a re-test.
