Three Arrested for Duping Job Seekers

The Rachakonda police in Telangana have arrested three individuals, Shaik Bade Shaheb, Muthoju Laxmana Chary, and Madaka Rama Swamy, for running a fake job racket. The police recovered four lakh rupees, two laptops, one printer, mobile phones, and incriminating documents from the accused.

The fraudsters had previously been involved in similar cases, promising job seekers positions in various government and public sectors such as FCI, SBI Bank, Court Outsourcing, AG Office, Post Office, Railway, Income Tax Inspector, GST Office, Revenue Dept., Electricity Dept., and Software jobs. They provided fake appointment letters and ID cards to their victims.

When the victims discovered the fraud and demanded their money back, the accused promised to return the money but then disappeared. A case was registered at Pocharam IT Corridor Police Station, Rachakonda.

The accused also created a fake agreement to collect applications for new government schemes like Gruha Jyothi and Gruha Laxmi, collecting Rs 33 lakh from one person named B.V. V. Shanker with a false promise of providing contract work.

Further investigations are ongoing, and efforts are being made to apprehend the remaining suspects, Mohd Malik and Akash. More details are awaited.
