In Bengaluru, R Ashoka, the Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly, addressed rumors about a conflict between the BJP and JD(S) over the Channapatna Assembly seat for the upcoming by-election. Kumaraswamy also highlighted that JD(S) has a strong presence in Channapatna and had previously ceded the Bengaluru rural seat to BJP, hoping for similar cooperation in return.
