In Quetta, Pakistan, train services have been temporarily halted following a tragic explosion at the railway station. The blast, which occurred during the departure of the Jaffar Express, resulted in 26 fatalities and 62 injuries. To ensure passenger safety, Pakistan Railways has suspended operations from November 11 to 14. The Bolan Mail will resume its service from Karachi to Quetta on November 16, and from Quetta to Karachi on November 18. The Jaffar Express will travel from Peshawar to Quetta on November 14, returning on November 15.

At the time of the explosion, many passengers were present as two trains, the Chaman Passenger and Jaffar Express, were scheduled to depart. In response to the incident, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for an investigation, stating that those responsible will face severe consequences. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi highlighted the terrorists’ intent to destabilize the nation, while People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari condemned the attack, supporting efforts to eliminate terrorism.
