Quetta Railway Station Blast: Internet Shutdown and Global Condemnation

In Quetta, Pakistan, mobile and internet services have been suspended in parts of Balochistan due to security concerns. This decision was made by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to maintain law and order. The suspension follows a tragic blast at Quetta Railway Station on November 9, which resulted in 26 deaths and 62 injuries, including women and children.

The explosion occurred at 8:25 am during the departure of the Jaffar Express, with many passengers present. Two trains, Chaman Passenger and Jaffar Express, were scheduled to depart from Quetta to Chaman and Peshawar. Following the incident, Quetta railway station was closed from November 11-14, with services resuming after security clearance.
