Flagbearers

Star shuttler PV Sindhu and seasoned table tennis player Sharath Kamal will be the flagbearers for India. They are the first athletes from their respective sports to hold this honor at such a significant event.

India has already made a mark with its men’s and women’s archery teams qualifying directly for the quarter-finals in their respective events.

First Medal Opportunity

India’s first shot at a medal will be during the mixed team air rifle event on July 27 at the National Shooting Centre in Chateauroux. Competing teams include Sandeep Singh/Elavenil Valarivan and Arjun Babuta/Ramita Jindal.
