In an exciting match at the Denmark Open badminton tournament in Odense, Indian badminton star PV Sindhu made a remarkable comeback to defeat China’s Han Yue. Despite losing the first game 18-21, Sindhu, ranked world number 18, fought back to win the next two games 21-12 and 21-16, securing her place in the quarterfinals.

The match lasted one hour and three minutes. In the first game, Han Yue, ranked world number 7, took an early lead, but Sindhu saved four game points before Han clinched the game. Sindhu dominated the second game, putting pressure on Han from the start and winning comfortably.

The third game was a nail-biter, with Han leading by four points at the mid-game interval. However, Sindhu’s determination shone through as she won four consecutive points and eventually took the match by winning the last six points in a row. This victory improved Sindhu’s head-to-head record against Han to 7-1.

Sindhu will face either world number 8 Gregoria Mariska Tunjung or local player Mia Blichfeldt in the quarterfinals. She is the last Indian player remaining in the tournament, as Lakshya Sen and Malvika Bansod were eliminated in the first round.
