Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann’s Health Sparks Concerns

SAD Leader Bikram Singh Majithia Speaks Out

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia has raised concerns about the health of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Majithia claims that Mann is in the third or fourth stage of liver cirrhosis and was recently hospitalized in Mohali due to severe symptoms.

Majithia has called on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and hospital authorities to provide detailed information about Mann’s health condition. He stated, “As per credible information, Bhagwant Mann is in the third or fourth stage of liver cirrhosis and has been told to keep off liquor or undergo a liver transplant.”

According to Majithia, Mann was admitted to the hospital in an emergency due to fluid accumulation in his lungs and stomach, causing breathlessness. He criticized the AAP government for trying to keep the situation secret, only releasing a brief statement after Majithia’s tweet.

Majithia emphasized the importance of transparency, given Mann’s constitutional role and Punjab’s sensitive status as a border state. He noted that this is not the first time Mann’s health has deteriorated, referencing a previous hospitalization in Delhi.

The AAP government, in an official statement, said that Mann is undergoing routine check-ups at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. Doctors have found signs of inflammation in an artery of Mann’s lungs, which is affecting his blood pressure. Further tests are being conducted, and Mann remains under observation.

Majithia wished Mann a speedy recovery and reiterated his call for the government to disclose the full details of Mann’s health condition.
