Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Meets AAP Leader Manish Sisodia After His Bail
New Delhi [India], August 16: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met senior AAP leader and former deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia on Friday. This was their first meeting since Sisodia was released on bail by the Supreme Court last week.
Sisodia was arrested in connection with the excise policy case on February 26 last year and was granted bail by the apex court on August 9.
Meanwhile, Manish Sisodia extended birthday wishes to jailed Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, stating that the Delhi CM is fighting the toughest battle against dictatorship in the country. Sisodia said, “Wishing the Chief Minister of Delhi, my dearest friend and political guru, @ArvindKejriwal ji a very happy birthday, who is fighting the toughest battle against the dictatorship prevailing in the country. We are proud to be soldiers of a patriot and revolutionary leader who chose to go to jail rather than kneel before a dictator. Today the country’s democracy is imprisoned in the form of Arvind Kejriwal.”
AAP Minister Atishi also wished Kejriwal on his birthday, saying that the one who shaped the future of many people by fighting against dictatorship is today in jail in a false case. She posted, “Today is the birthday of the revolutionary of modern India, Mr. @ArvindKejriwal, who changed the condition of Delhi with his governance model.
