PTI’s Raoof Hasan Remanded for Two Days in Islamabad Court

A court in Islamabad has approved a two-day physical remand for Raoof Hasan, the Information Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) requested the remand to recover gadgets allegedly used for anti-state propaganda. Hasan’s attorney opposed the remand.

Hasan and PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan were arrested at the PTI Secretariat, which police claim was the hub of an international disinformation network. The raid, based on information from a global social media activist connected to PTI, led to the seizure of computers and documents, which are now under examination.
