Asad Qaiser, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), announced that a rally in Islamabad aims to demand the release of PTI founder Imran Khan. Qaiser, accompanied by Mehmood Achakzai, visited the rally venue to oversee preparations.

Qaiser expressed concern that the government is trying to weaken the judiciary and using intimidation tactics against PTI members. He stated, “Our MNAs are being threatened on the assembly floor, senators were pressured to vote for the government.”

Qaiser emphasized that the rally is a constitutional right and has the necessary permissions. He warned that any efforts to prevent the rally would be illegal.

Regarding legal cases against Imran Khan, Qaiser mentioned that recent amendments to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws have cleared him of charges in the Toshakhana and Al-Qadir Trust cases. He stressed that PTI remains committed to its legal and constitutional rights.
