PTI Leader Ameer Sultan Kidnapped in Lahore

Ameer Sultan, a member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the National Assembly, was reportedly kidnapped by unknown individuals in Lahore. Sultan, who represents NA-110 in Jhang, was taken from his home on Sarwar Road, according to PTI Lahore Secretary General Hafiz Zeeshan.

PTI leader Asad Qaiser expressed his concerns, questioning how the country can function when politicians are being kidnapped. He criticized the lack of respect for the judiciary and the opposition to court decisions. Qaiser emphasized that PTI members would continue their struggle within the framework of the country’s laws.
Police Response
SSP Cantt Awais Shafiq stated that the police had not detained Sultan and had not received any complaints about his alleged kidnapping. PTI plans to file a complaint on July 15.
