PT Usha and Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami Prepare for 38th National Games
Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President PT Usha met with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in New Delhi to discuss the upcoming 38th National Games. PT Usha expressed her confidence in Uttarakhand’s readiness to host the event, which will take place from January 28 to February 14, 2025. The full program will be announced at the IOA’s general assembly meeting on October 25, 2024.
Alongside the National Games, Uttarakhand will also host the Winter National Games. Chief Minister Dhami expressed his gratitude to PT Usha for entrusting Uttarakhand with this responsibility and invited her to visit the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples.
Dhami assured that Uttarakhand is fully prepared, with much of the necessary infrastructure already in place. He promised that the games would be organized in a grand manner, drawing on experiences from previous host states to ensure a successful event. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of providing excellent facilities for athletes and visitors, aiming to boost the morale of the local community and offer a platform for emerging players.
