Protests in Quetta for Missing Zaheer Baloch
A major protest and sit-in have been organized in Quetta’s Sariab Road due to the disappearance of Zaheer Baloch. On the sixth day of their sit-in at Sariab Road, Zaheer Baloch’s family called for a rally on July 7 at 5 PM. The BWF denounced the non-seriousness of the concerned institutions and urged people to join the rally to condemn such policies.

Sammi Deen Baloch, a prominent human rights activist, urged people to stand up against the enforced disappearances in Balochistan. She mentioned that Zaheer’s family has been protesting for five days without any response from the government.

The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) informed that Zaheer Baloch, a father of two and a government employee for over 15 years, was forcibly disappeared on June 27 by CTD personnel. His family has been protesting since July 2, demanding his safe recovery and an FIR against the perpetrators.
