Priyansh Arya Hits Six Sixes in an Over, Dreams of Playing with Virat Kohli for RCB

New Delhi [India], September 2: Priyansh Arya, a 23-year-old cricketer, made history by hitting six sixes in an over during a Delhi Premier League match against North Delhi Strikers. Arya, who plays for South Delhi Superstarz, expressed his desire to play for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) alongside his idol, Virat Kohli.

“I want to play for RCB because I admire Virat bhaiya a lot,” Arya said.

Arya achieved this feat while facing left-arm spinner Manan Bhardwaj. He scored 120 runs in just 50 balls, including ten fours and ten sixes, at a strike rate of 240. His teammate, Ayush Badoni, scored an impressive 165 runs in 55 balls, with eight fours and 19 sixes, bringing their team’s total to 308/5.

Despite their remarkable performance, the match did not count towards official T20 records. The highest T20 score remains Nepal’s 314/3 against Mongolia in the Asian Games Hangzhou. Badoni’s score would have been the third-best in T20 history, following Chris Gayle’s 175* for RCB in 2013 and Hamilton Maskadza’s 162* in Zimbabwe’s Domestic T20 competition.
