On Sunday, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is contesting in the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-elections, held a roadshow in the constituency. She expressed gratitude for the love and support she received from the people, particularly the Christian community. Priyanka assured them that she would advocate for their demands, just as she does for everyone else.
During the campaign, Priyanka stated, “People have given me a lot of love and affection. I’m very grateful for it. I’ve been very happy campaigning here. I have been meeting many people from the Christian community. I will fight for their demands. Just as I am fighting for everybody else. I will discuss with them, understand properly and I will also support them.”
Sachin Pilot’s Confidence in Priyanka’s Victory
Earlier, Congress leader Sachin Pilot expressed confidence in a “historic victory” for Priyanka Gandhi in Wayanad. He mentioned that Priyanka, along with Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Parliament, would pose challenges for the BJP and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Pilot noted that the Congress and UDF cadre are united, and there is a positive sentiment among the public.
Pilot emphasized that Priyanka Gandhi has proven herself as a skilled politician over the past two decades and will be a strong voice for Wayanad in Parliament. The Congress aims for Priyanka to win by over five lakh votes.

Wayanad, a Congress stronghold, will witness a contest between Priyanka Gandhi of Congress, Navya Haridas of the BJP, and Sathyan Mokeri of the Left alliance in the upcoming by-polls.
