On October 23, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra filed her nomination for the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll in Kerala. Priyanka is contesting against BJP’s Navya Haridas and LDF’s Sathyan Mokeri. The bypoll is scheduled for November 13, with vote counting on November 23.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh criticized the Congress for focusing on family politics. Priyanka’s nomination was supported by Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, who participated in a roadshow and rally in Kalpetta, Kerala.
