Priyanka Gandhi to Contest Wayanad Bypoll
On October 15, the Congress party announced that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be contesting the bypoll for the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala. This seat was vacated by Rahul Gandhi, who was also elected from Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh earlier this year. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge approved Priyanka’s candidature.
