Priyanka Gandhi and Leaders Condemn Killing of Migrant Labourer in Kashmir
In New Delhi, on October 19, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra expressed her condemnation of the killing of a migrant labourer in the Shopian district of Kashmir. The victim, Ashok Chauhan, a migrant worker from Bihar, was found dead with bullet injuries. Priyanka Gandhi stated that the entire nation stands united against such acts of violence and target killings by terrorists.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also condemned the incident, describing it as a brutal act by cowardly terrorists. He assured that security forces are committed to bringing the culprits to justice and extended his condolences to the victim’s family.
J-K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed his sorrow over the incident, condemning the attacks as abhorrent and offering condolences to the family and loved ones of Ashok Chauhan.
