Inauguration of Mumbai Metro Line 3
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra to inaugurate the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Mumbai Metro Line 3, the city’s first fully underground metro line. A 12.69-kilometre section between Aarey JVLR and Bandra Kurla Complex will be partially opened. The event will be attended by Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan, Union Minister Manohar Lal, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and other dignitaries.

PM Modi will also launch the MetroConnect3 app to enhance travel experiences and unveil a coffee table book on the metro’s development. He will disburse the 18th instalment of the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi, worth Rs 20,000 crore, to 9.4 crore farmers, and launch the 5th instalment of the NaMo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana.
Infrastructure and Agricultural Developments
The Prime Minister will dedicate over 7,500 projects under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund and inaugurate 9,200 Farmer Producer Organisations. He will also launch the Unified Genomic Chip for cattle and indigenous sex-sorted semen technology, and dedicate five solar parks across Maharashtra.
Urban Development Projects
PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension and initiate Phase-1 of the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area project. Additionally, he will lay the foundation for a new administrative building for Thane Municipal Corporation.
