Prime Minister Narendra Modi Talks About India’s Progress in New York
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at an event in New York, emphasized that India now creates opportunities rather than waiting for them. He introduced the concept of ‘Pushp,’ representing a progressive, unstoppable, spiritual, humanity-first, and prosperous India.
Modi highlighted India’s advancements in various sectors over the last ten years, including lifting 25 crore people out of poverty and connecting over 50 crore people to the banking system. He noted India’s significant role in sports, business, environment, and entertainment, mentioning the IPL and Indian films’ global success.
During his visit, PM Modi participated in the Quad Summit and held meetings with US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japan Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. The Quad group aims to promote peace, progress, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region. Modi and Biden discussed ways to deepen the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
PM Modi will also meet with American business leaders and address the Summit of the Future at the UN General Assembly in New York.
