Dressed in a white kurta, blue vest, and a traditional multicolour safa, Modi addressed the nation for the 11th time from the Red Fort, making him the third Prime Minister to do so after Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. The theme for this year’s Independence Day is ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047.’
