Prime Minister Modi’s Big Trip: New Trains, Houses, and Projects in Jharkhand, Gujarat, and Odisha
From September 15 to 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Jharkhand, Gujarat, and Odisha to launch and lay the foundation for several development projects.
Jharkhand
On September 15, PM Modi will visit Jharkhand. He will flag off the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat train at Tatanagar Junction Railway Station. He will also lay the foundation stone and dedicate various railway projects worth over Rs 660 crores. Additionally, he will distribute sanction letters to 20,000 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) and participate in the Griha Pravesh celebrations for 46,000 beneficiaries.
Gujarat
On September 16, PM Modi will interact with beneficiaries of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in Gandhinagar. He will inaugurate the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor’s Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST) at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. He will also inaugurate the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project and take a metro ride. In Ahmedabad, he will lay the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth over Rs 8,000 crores, including railway lines, roads, and solar projects. He will also launch the Single Window IT System (SWITS) and sanction more than 30,000 houses under PMAY-G.
Odisha
On September 17, PM Modi will visit Odisha. He will interact with beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban and lay the foundation stone for various projects worth over Rs 3,800 crores in Bhubaneswar. He will also launch ‘SUBHADRA,’ a scheme for women, and initiate fund transfers to over 10 lakh women. Additionally, he will release the first installment of assistance to nearly 13 lakh beneficiaries under PMAY-G and launch the Awaas+ 2024 App for surveying additional households.
