Prime Minister Modi to Lead Campaign Rallies in Maharashtra
As the assembly elections in Maharashtra approach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to energize the campaign with a series of rallies. Scheduled between November 8 and 14, PM Modi will address 11 rallies across various locations including Dhule, Nashik, Akola, Nanded, Chandrapur, Chimur, Solapur, Pune, Sambhajinagar, Navi Mumbai, and Mumbai.
Key Leaders Join the Campaign
Alongside PM Modi, several prominent leaders will also participate in the campaign. Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to address around 20 rallies, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath about 22, and Union Health Minister JP Nadda approximately 13. Nitin Gadkari, the Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister, will speak at about 50 rallies, while Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will address around 55 rallies.
Focus on Welfare Schemes
The campaign will emphasize the Mahayuti government’s welfare schemes, such as the Ladli Behna Yojana and electricity waivers for farmers. The alliance aims to highlight its achievements and commitment to Maharashtra’s development, with the goal of forming a “double-engine” government once again.
Election Preparations Intensify
Both the ruling Mahayuti alliance and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are ramping up their efforts for the upcoming elections to the 288-member Maharashtra assembly. The BJP, part of the Mahayuti alliance, is working alongside the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) and Ajit Pawar-led NCP to secure victory.
